Earlier today, I was challenged on Facebook to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by Chris Kuehn of Sterling Tool Works. For those that don’t know, this challenge has become a viral phenomenon that has raised awareness of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) and has helped raise millions of dollars to aid in research. I’m not normally one to join in on social media fads, but this is a very worthy cause. Here is my response to Chris’ challenge: I will donate 10% of all plane sales and online class sales for the rest of the month of August to the ALS Association. In the spirit of the challenge, I nominate Shannon Rogers of The Hand Tool School, Neil Cronk of Cronkwright Woodshop, and Mark Harrell of Bad Axe Tool Works.
GOOD FOR YOU Scott!
Thank you for supporting ALS – Let’s see what Shannon, Neil and Mark come back with… MAYBE, we should carry this to WIA and do a MASSIVE ice bucket challenge?????
